TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
As an educator with over twenty years teaching and administrative experience, I have had the privilege of working with students and families in the Bay Area in both the performing arts and academics.
During that time, I have continued my academic education, but the best education I've ever received has come from the students themselves. Over the years, I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with individuals from diverse age groups (preschoolers to senior citizens), diverse learning styles/differences, and distinct cultures. It is from these students and their families that I have been able to form concepts about the ways in which individuals process information and perform to their potential, and I continually use and refine my techniques in order to improve my practice and to help students realize that they can do math, and pass and even excel in their math classes.
